Contact & Get Involved
This project helps Texans understand rainwater potential at their property. If you want to collaborate, share feedback, sponsor development, or help us highlight qualified local installers: we’d love to hear from you.
About this project
We’re building data-driven tools for realistic system sizing and seasonal performance in Texas. The goal is to make rainwater harvesting approachable for everyone, from homeowners to designers to policymakers.
Ways to get involved
Collaborate
Developers, data folks, educators: let’s improve the model and UI together.
Feedback
Tell us what’s confusing, what’s missing, or what worked great.
Sponsorship
Support ongoing hosting and improvements; be recognized as a sponsor.
Installers
We plan to highlight qualified local installers so homeowners can connect.
Roadmap & Funding Priorities
Today, the calculator uses monthly rainfall aggregates. The next major upgrade is daily precipitation by ~4 km × 4 km grid cell to deliver higher‑fidelity sizing and validation. Hosting daily data at statewide scale requires meaningful storage and compute power, additional sponsorship will make this possible.
